The Amazing 11yr Old PhotoShop Kid : "People want to breathe better and look better"

Like any 11 year-old, Aaron Kindley likes to play games on his computer, watch You Tube and hang out with his friends. He also likes reading and science and his teachers think he is smart enough to go to University. “I looked up MIT and I sometimes imagine I could get to go there. I also wish I could travel. I love everything about Egypt. I want to go the pyramids.”

Aaron’s parents were struggling like everyone else, until his father lost his job and they began really struggling. Aaron began to wonder if he would ever realize any of his dreams. “My dad said I could do anything I want if I want it enough. He was right.”

Aaron wanted to go into business. His first idea was to buy plants from retailers at the end of the planting season and ship them to senior’s homes where they would find a home with someone who really wanted them. When he was 4 his grandpa died from lung cancer and Aaron decided the air we breathe should be healthier. He learned in school that plants emit oxygen and he thought if the seniors were busy caring for the plants, they’d be healthier and happier. Aaron started a company called Still Growing, to make his healthy plants plan come to life. But helping seniors wasn’t
going to get him to college and video games weren’t the best way to spend his time.

He and his dad were watching weight loss ads on TV and they decided everyone wants to be better looking. They realized more and more people were putting their pictures on the internet and looking for new friends, old friends and romance. A lot of these people seemed to be choosing pictures that had problems.

Why don’t they just take another picture? Aaron didn’t understand it. They decided that people often have a picture of themselves that they like for some reasons and not for others. What if we had a service to fix a few small problems
with the pictures?

A few months later, MakeMeLookHot.com was born. People liked it right away. They could get their picture fixed in one day or in three days and it didn’t cost much. At just $7, why bother shooting a new photo? Just fix the one you almost like and post it.

Things are looking up for Aaron. He’s becoming a Photoshop expert. His dad is learning about hiring other people to help fix people’s pictures. Aaron hasn’t gotten to the pyramids or College yet, but he’s getting closer every single day.
